Thank you for your consideration in supporting the award winning Dripping Springs High School dance teams!

The Hi-Stepper Varsity Team was established in 1988, and the Dazzlers JV Team was created in 2017. Both DSHS dance teams have a long tradition of high academic achievement and service to the community in addition to their entertaining crowds at the DSHS football games, pep rallies, volleyball and basketball games, and community events. Their enthusiasm and love of dance is exhibited throughout the year during these performances, local and state level competitions held each February/March, and their annual end of the year Spring Show. The Hi-Steppers also compete in a National dance competition every other year.

The purpose of the Hi-Steppers and Dazzlers Dance Teams is to promote loyal school spirit and to encourage quality performance, high academic standards, and excellence in behavior. Through the development of dance technique, leadership, cooperation, self discipline, dignity, and sportsmanship in each individual member, the Hi-Steppers and Dazzlers will fulfill their purpose for the benefit of the Dripping Springs High School and the community of the Dripping Springs Independent School District. As a part of the dance team, each member pledges their time, ability, minds, and hearts to this purpose. In addition to dancing, the Hi-Steppers and Dazzlers participate in volunteer time at DSISD elementary school events and serve individually as volunteers for many community events and organizations. They also host a Little Steppers Dance Camp every summer for young aspiring dancers in the community.

How You Can Help

The Hi-Steppers and Dazzler dance teams are a full year program which requires a great deal of support to be successful. Our annual sponsorship program helps provide costumes, choreography, travel funds, contest fees, and educational expenses for the team. Our program can provide individuals and members of the business community considerable marketing and advertising opportunities in exchange for sponsorship. We also have an opportunity later in the season to help support a contest we host.
